In recent years, Japan’s kei car market has seen a growing trend toward outdoor recreation. Camping is no longer associated only with large minivans and SUVs — compact city cars are now joining the adventure scene.

Japanese customization brand Route6, well-known for converting everyday vehicles into campers, has turned the popular Honda N-Van Fun into a new micro camper called Seek POP. Despite its small footprint, the transformed N-Van serves as a “micro apartment on wheels,” capable of sleeping up to four people.

The main highlight of the Seek POP is its pop-up roof, which provides an additional sleeping area measuring about 180 cm (5 ft 11 in) long and 105 cm (3 ft 5 in) wide — enough space for two adults to rest comfortably.

Inside the N-Van itself, the fold-flat seats create another sleeping area for two more people.

Beyond the sleeping arrangements, the tiny Honda includes a generous storage compartment and a camper kit with a foldable table and chairs for dining outdoors.

Additional upgrades include six adjustable LED lights inside the cabin and enhanced roof insulation for better comfort.

The Seek POP will be available with a choice of 0.66-liter gasoline engines — either naturally aspirated or turbocharged — and with front- or all-wheel drive.

Pricing starts at 4,123,900 yen (around $27,500), and the camper will be sold exclusively in Japan.
