Nissan has officially revealed the updated 2026 Murano, designed specifically for North American buyers. The new version puts a strong emphasis on comfort, premium features, and advanced technology — marking a major step forward for the popular midsize crossover.

One of the biggest upgrades is the addition of ProPilot Assist 2.1, Nissan’s latest semi-autonomous driving system. It allows the driver to take a more relaxed approach behind the wheel, as the system can handle certain driving tasks on designated roadways. Among its key functions are adaptive speed control that adjusts to traffic conditions and lane-change or overtaking suggestions that appear when it’s safe to make a move.

The 2026 Murano also introduces an “intelligent” all-wheel-drive system, along with 64-color ambient interior lighting, new LED headlights, and a range of other refinements aimed at improving the driving and passenger experience.

Pricing for the updated Murano starts at around $40,000, and buyers can choose from three trim levels: SV, SL, and Platinum.
