What to Expect From Bentley’s First-Ever Electric Vehicle: Concept Photos and Early Details

Bentley has officially confirmed plans to introduce its first fully electric model, with pricing expected to land close to today’s Bentley Bentayga. The announcement came from the company’s president and CEO, Mike Rocco.

According to Rocco, the success of any vehicle—regardless of whether it runs on gasoline or electricity—comes down to three key factors: competitive pricing, attractive lease offers, and carefully planned production volumes. That’s why Bentley is determined not to repeat the missteps of some rivals by overpricing its first electric SUV.

Technical specifications remain under wraps for now. What is known is that the new EV will be smaller than the Bentayga and designed primarily with city driving in mind. It will ride on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), the same architecture underpinning the upcoming Porsche Cayenne Electric.

In terms of design, the production model is expected to draw inspiration from the Bentley EXP 15 concept, featuring a bold, upright front end and a strong visual presence.

The official debut is scheduled for the third quarter of next year, though Bentley plans to release its first teaser image later this year.

The automaker has already held private previews in Miami and Los Angeles, where early feedback has been encouraging—eight out of ten prospective buyers reportedly expressed interest in purchasing the vehicle. European customers have also shown strong curiosity, but Rocco emphasized that the model’s ultimate success will hinge largely on its final price tag.
