Ram Heavy Duty has two new versions: Black Express and Warlock

The Ram brand, owned by automaker Stellantis, introduced the heavy Ram 2500 Heavy Duty (HD) of the current fifth generation in 2019. The model received a facelift in early 2025: the pickup's front design was updated, wheel rims were redesigned, and the 6.7-liter Cummins turbo diesel under the hood was upgraded. Now, the truck has been refreshed for the 2026 model year.

The full-size pickup was refreshed with two new versions - 2500 Black Express and Warlock, both based on the Tradesman trim. In the U.S. market, the starting price of the first version is $53,735, while the second is $57,165. Dealers in the U.S. have already started taking orders for the novelties, with the first buyers receiving their trucks in the third quarter of this year.

Key exterior features of the Ram 2500 Heavy Duty Black Express include body-colored bumpers and grille frame, a "sporty" hood with additional air intakes, power mirrors, black tubular side steps, and 20-inch black wheels.

This large pickup is available with two cargo bed lengths and with either rear or four-wheel drive. The vehicle is equipped with front and rear parking sensors. Inside, there is carpeted flooring with cloth seat upholstery.

On the other hand, the Ram 2500 Heavy Duty Warlock is offered only with four-wheel drive, original 20-inch wheels paired with a set of off-road 34-inch Goodyear Duratrac A/T tires. This trim includes a rear differential with anti-slip protection, Bilstein shocks, adapted for both asphalt and off-road use, and a descent assist function.

Visual differences of this truck version include unpainted plastic bumpers, similar fender cladding, a fully black massive grille (including the frame), and a side decal with the version's name. Inside the Ram 2500 HD Warlock, there are "all-weather" floor mats.

For both truck versions, the standard engine is a 411-horsepower Hemi V8 with a 6.4-liter capacity, delivering a maximum torque of 581 Nm. An optional, upgraded 6.7-liter Cummins turbo diesel is available, producing 436 hp and 1458 Nm. Both versions are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
