Jeep’s best-selling European crossover Avenger is preparing for its first update since launching in 2023.
Back in 2022, Jeep introduced the compact Jeep Avenger. The small SUV reached dealerships across Europe in early 2023 and quickly became Jeep’s best-selling model in the region.
Now the crossover is preparing for its first major refresh.
According to early reports, Jeep is unlikely to take big risks with such a successful vehicle. With the Avenger performing strongly in the European market, the brand appears focused on making careful, targeted updates rather than sweeping changes.
The overall silhouette is expected to remain the same. Most of the visible updates will likely concentrate on the front end, where the refreshed model could debut a revised grille and slightly redesigned headlights.
Inside the cabin, major redesigns aren’t expected either. Instead, the facelifted Avenger will probably retain its current interior layout while adding a few modern touches — including larger infotainment displays and expanded digital features.
The current crossover shares its platform and powertrain technology with several other models from Stellantis, including the Alfa Romeo Junior, Peugeot 2008, and Opel Mokka.
As for powertrains, major changes are not expected. The updated Avenger will likely continue offering a 100-horsepower gasoline engine, a mild-hybrid setup producing about 110 horsepower, and a fully electric version rated at 156 horsepower.
The EV variant may receive a slightly larger battery pack, which could increase driving range beyond the current about 250 miles on a single charge.
The debut of the refreshed Jeep Avenger is expected before the end of this year.
