Sales of Tesla company in the European electric car market have halved and amount to less than 16 thousand vehicles, notes the analytical company JATO Dynamics.

At the same time, the overall demand for electric vehicles in the region has increased by a quarter. Other car manufacturers have also shown strong sales growth. In particular, Volkswagen has increased the sales of electric cars by 180% and sold around 20 thousand vehicles. BMW together with the Mini brand sold almost 19 thousand electric cars.

Chinese manufacturers have achieved particular success, selling more cars than Tesla. This indicates increasing competition in the European electric transport market.

It is also worth noting that car prices may soar to record levels due to Trump's decision.
