The creator of the car was inspired by the Rolls-Royce Jules prototype for the famous race, built by two French racers specifically for the 1981 Paris-Dakar rally marathon. It was a Toyota Land Cruiser SUV with a 5.7-liter V8 engine from a Chevrolet Corvette with a fiberglass body in the style of a Rolls-Royce Corniche coupe.

The British version has a real 1973 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow sedan body mounted on a fourth-generation Mitsubishi L200 pickup chassis with a turbo diesel and all-wheel-drive transmission.

The construction of the car cost £32,000 ($43,000), but now the craftsman is ready to part with the self-made car for £18,995 ($25,500). According to him, since February, he has driven more than 2,000 km and continues to regularly use it.
