Ferrari has revealed the interior and key technologies of its first fully electric vehicle, called Luce—Italian for “light.” The model is set to debut in May and marks the brand’s official step into a new electric era.

The cabin was developed in collaboration with LoveFrom, the design collective co-founded by former Apple design chief Jony Ive, alongside renowned designer Marc Newson. At the heart of the interior is a redesigned steering wheel inspired by classic Nardi designs from the 1950s and 1960s, featuring simple analog-style buttons and an aluminum structure.

Behind the wheel sits an instrument cluster made up of OLED displays that create a three-dimensional visual effect. The main central screen is mounted on a pivoting mechanism, allowing it to rotate toward either the driver or the passenger.

It also features a mechanical-style “multi-graph” element that mimics the look of an analog clock. While the digital interface is modern and intuitive, several key functions are still controlled via physical switches.

Both the vehicle’s key and the gear selector are crafted from glass crystal and incorporate e-ink displays that consume power only when the image changes. Overall, the interior blends minimalism with retro-inspired details, signaling a clear shift away from the more complex cabin designs seen in Ferrari’s previous models.
