A Car That’s Practically a TV: New Porsche Cayenne fitted with brand's biggest screens yet

A Car That’s Practically a TV: New Porsche Cayenne fitted with brand's biggest screens yet

Porsche has revealed the interior of the upcoming Cayenne EV, showcasing the most expansive digital setup ever offered in one of its models.

At the heart of the cabin sits the new Flow Display infotainment screen, split into two distinct zones. The larger section handles advanced functions such as navigation and the freshly introduced driving “mood modes”, while the slimmer strip is dedicated to quick-access controls for media, phone, heated seats and menu navigation.

Despite the focus on touch technology, Porsche has retained physical buttons beneath the Flow Display and on the steering wheel for essential features like audio and climate adjustment.

Complementing the main screen is a 14.25in curved digital instrument cluster, alongside a separate 14.9in touchscreen positioned for the front passenger. Similar to the setup in the Macan, this display allows film streaming and gaming, with its own independent Bluetooth audio system separate from the car’s primary sound output.

The passenger display will be standard on higher trims and available as an option on entry-level versions. For those choosing to skip it, the space is covered with leather or cloth trim that blends seamlessly with the interior.

Porsche has also highlighted the technology beneath the surface. The new luxury SUV is expected to deliver close to 1000bhp while achieving a driving range of around 373 miles, thanks to a substantial 108kWh battery.

Charging capabilities are equally advanced: the system supports up to 400kW, enabling a 10–80% charge in just about 15 minutes. Additionally, Porsche will introduce an inductive charging option, allowing owners to top up their vehicles at home without plugging in a cable.
