Classic With No Equal: America’s Most Popular Vehicle Has Been Named
Ford F-Series trucks have been built by Ford Motor Company for more than 70 years.
From the beginning of the year through October, the best-selling vehicle in the United States has once again been the legendary Ford F-Series.
Sales were up 11.7%, and the truck now holds an impressive 5.1% share of the entire U.S. market.
The Ford F-Series has long been a true American classic. Ford Motor Company has been producing these pickups for more than 70 years, and over that time they’ve gone through numerous generations. As of early 2025, total production of Ford F-Series trucks is estimated at more than 40 million vehicles.
Second place goes to another American icon—the full-size Chevrolet Silverado pickup. Third place is taken by a Japanese model, the Toyota RAV4 crossover, which is hugely popular not only in Ukraine but worldwide. Both models posted modest sales growth.

Overall, this is what the U.S. top 10 looks like:
-
Ford F-Series (+11.7%)
-
Chevrolet Silverado (+2.2%)
-
Toyota RAV4 (+2.1%)
-
Honda CR-V (+3.1%)
-
Ram Pickup (−4.8%)
-
Chevrolet Equinox (+49.6%)
-
GMC Sierra (+19.9%)
-
Toyota Camry (+3%)
-
Tesla Model Y (−16.8%)
-
Toyota Tacoma (+54.7%)
And a bit of lyrical commentary to wrap things up. Many experts have also agreed on what they consider the best modern off-road SUV—and the title goes to the Land Rover Defender Octa. According to those experts, it delivers outstanding performance, improved off-road capability, and advanced safety technology. It’s said to be perfectly suited for mud, water crossings, and steep terrain.
