The Adria Alpina Colorado Travel Trailer Delivers True Luxury Living on Wheels
This spacious luxury trailer sleeps four adults and brings premium comfort to every road trip.
Luxury travel trailers are nothing new, but very few deliver the same level of style and comfort as an Adria. That becomes especially clear in the brand’s flagship lineup, the Alpina series, which sits at the very top of its range.
The Adria Alpina is the company’s best-selling line of caravans — the European term for travel trailers — even though it’s also the most expensive. No matter which floorplan you choose, an Alpina is built for premium mobile living, with elegant styling, excellent comfort, and features you simply won’t find in most other trailers.

For the 2025 model year, the Alpina lineup was reduced to just three floorplans, all carrying American-inspired names: the Colorado, the Mississippi, and the Rio Grande. The Colorado is the largest of the three and one of the few Adria trailers built on a tandem-axle chassis.
It’s also one of the biggest travel trailers available in Europe, whether you’re shopping premium or not. While North American towables range from tiny teardrops to massive fifth wheels and toy haulers, European trailers usually stay within a much narrower size range — partly because heavy-duty pickup trucks are far less common there.

That makes the Colorado, officially called the Adria Alpina 623 UL Colorado, one of the largest options on the market. It rides on a tandem-axle AL-KO galvanized steel chassis with an AKS stabilizer and ATC system, plus 15-inch Adria alloy wheels. The body uses polyester sidewalls and thermoformed ABS front and rear panels.

Styrofoam insulation and Alde underfloor liquid heating help keep the trailer comfortable year-round. Adria proudly says its caravans are just as livable in extreme summer heat as they are in freezing winter temperatures.
The Colorado measures 27 feet long, 8 feet wide, and about 8.5 feet tall. The layout isn’t unusual for a European trailer, but Adria gives it a very distinct touch that makes it stand out.

It features a front lounge, a rear bathroom, a center kitchen, and a walk-through bedroom with twin beds—one on each side. This makes it a perfect fit for couples who’d rather not share the same mattress, blanket, or even personal space. At the same time, the two beds can be joined to create one larger double bed for those who prefer to sleep closer.

That setup does block access to the bathroom, though. So if two extra adults are sleeping on the convertible bed in the front lounge, late-night bathroom trips might get a little complicated.
Long story short, the Colorado can sleep four adults comfortably, but there are a few trade-offs. As a couple’s RV, it’s nearly perfect—especially when used in its standard twin-bed setup.

The front lounge uses an atrium-style design, with a large U-shaped seating area surrounded by natural light from every angle. This is where Adria really goes all-in on glass, adding triple front windows, large side windows, and even a curved skyroof.
Standard features include adjustable headrests, a flip-up coffee table, built-in speakers hidden in the overhead cabinets, movable LED reading lights mounted along a metal rail, and a removable dining table that stores neatly in its own cabinet.

The center kitchen comes equipped with a three-burner gas cooktop, stainless steel sink, large soft-close drawers, snap-on metal shelving rails, an oven with grill function, a small microwave hidden inside an upper cabinet, and a slim tower-style refrigerator. Most caravans focus only on function, but the Colorado manages to blend function and design really wel.
Across from the kitchen, there’s additional storage, a TV mount, and a small removable LED lamp that can be taken off its charging dock and used anywhere inside.
The bedroom can be fully separated from the main living area with a solid three-piece sliding door, giving far more privacy than the accordion-style dividers often found in other trailers.
Both beds come with adjustable headrests, padded headboards, slatted bases with easy-access storage underneath, and reasonably sized wardrobes at the end of each bed. The décor matches the front lounge, with elegant fabrics, leather finishes, and subtle LED accent lighting.
The full-width rear bathroom is narrow but long, and importantly, it’s a dry bathroom with full amenities. That includes a cassette toilet, a raised sink on a slim vanity with built-in storage, and a proper shower with a glass door and chrome fixtures.
Standard equipment includes Alde heating and hot water, pre-wiring for air conditioning, an integrated electric step, a 13-gallon fresh water tank, and a rollable wastewater tank stored in the large front compartmnt.

Empty weight starts at about 4,050 pounds before adding the full equipment package, while maximum allowable weight reaches 5,511 pounds thanks to the heavy-duty chassis. Available options include solar panels, an alarm system, GPS tracker, a larger fresh water tank, and an air conditioning unit.
Pricing depends on options and dealer markup, but it starts at around $60,200 at current exchange rates. That’s definitely above average—but then again, this is far from an average travel trailer.
