Florida Shop Turns Aston Martin DB9 Into a James Bond-Style Flamethrower Machine

A wrecked Aston Martin DB9 was rebuilt in Florida with Corvette V8 power, real flamethrowers, and Bond-inspired spy gadgets.

Florida Shop Turns Aston Martin DB9 Into a James Bond-Style Flamethrower Machine

A heavily damaged Aston Martin DB9 has been transformed into one of the wildest custom builds in Florida thanks to the team at Conquer Custom. The project mixes British grand touring style with American muscle and a healthy dose of James Bond fantasy.

The car started life as a crashed Aston Martin DB9, but very little of the original mechanical setup remains. The factory 5.9-liter naturally aspirated V12 was removed and replaced with a 6.2-liter V8 sourced from a Chevrolet Corvette. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission, also borrowed from the Corvette platform.

But the drivetrain swap isn’t the most outrageous part of the build.

Hidden behind a folding front grille are two fully functional retractable flamethrowers. The system runs on a propane-and-oxygen mixture, with the tanks mounted in the trunk. The car also features a smoke-screen deployment setup, adding even more classic spy-movie vibes.

Inside, the DB9 gets a custom digital instrument cluster with graphics inspired by James Bond films. There’s also a dedicated control panel for the “spy” equipment. The cabin itself has been retrimmed in black Alcantara, while a Bluetooth audio system modernizes the interior.

The result looks less like a traditional Aston Martin grand tourer and more like something straight out of a Hollywood action movie.
