2027 Nissan Frontier Pricing Is Here, and Here's What the New Sport Edition Costs

Nissan has released full pricing details for the 2027 Frontier, giving buyers a clearer picture of what they'll pay for the latest version of the midsize pickup. The biggest addition for the new model year is the Sport Edition package, which brings a more aggressive look and a few off-road-inspired touches.

The 2027 Frontier lineup starts at $32,490 before destination charges, taxes, title, and optional equipment. Deliveries are expected to begin before the end of the month.

Base Models Start at $32,490

The entry-level truck is the Frontier S King Cab 4x2 equipped with the six-foot bed, carrying an MSRP of $32,490. Buyers who want four-wheel drive will need to spend at least $35,490 for the S King Cab 4x4.

Nissan offers only two King Cab configurations, but the Crew Cab lineup is considerably broader. Pricing for the Frontier S Crew Cab 4x2 with the five-foot bed starts at $33,890, and buyers can choose from nine different Crew Cab variants.

At the top of the range sits the off-road-focused PRO-4X Crew Cab 4x4. Models equipped with the five-foot bed start at $42,190, while the six-foot-bed version raises the price to $42,690.

All models carry a destination and handling charge of $1,745.

New Sport Edition Package Costs $990

Introduced earlier this year, the new Sport Edition package is available on Frontier SV models in both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations. The package adds $990 to the vehicle's MSRP.

Designed to give the truck a more rugged appearance, the Sport Edition features a black front fascia, black grille, black mirrors, and unique Sport badging.

Inside, Nissan adds black upholstery accented by yellow contrast stitching.

Other upgrades include:

• Black 17-inch off-road-style wheels;
• 265/70R17 Hankook Dynapro all-terrain tires;
• Aluminum skid plate;
• LED fog lights;
• Front accent lighting.

Additional Updates for 2027

The 2027 Frontier receives several other changes as well.

PRO-X and PRO-4X models can now be equipped with a moonroof package when paired with the Convenience Package. Nissan has also added a new Alpine Metallic paint color to the palette.

Another improvement comes in the form of an upgraded wireless charging pad. Models equipped with the PRO Convenience Package now feature Qi2 technology, which Nissan says delivers faster and more reliable charging performance.

Familiar V6 Power Remains

Under the hood, nothing changes for 2027.

Every Frontier continues to be powered by Nissan's naturally aspirated 3.8-liter V6 engine. The engine is assembled at the company's Decherd Powertrain plant in Tennessee, while production of the truck itself takes place at Nissan's Canton Assembly facility in Mississippi.

With pricing now finalized and the new Sport Edition joining the lineup, Nissan is giving Frontier buyers another option in the highly competitive midsize truck segment without straying far from the formula that has made the pickup one of the brand's most dependable offerings.
