Ford Recalls 7,000+ Mustangs Because of Lighting Problem
More than 7,000 Ford Mustangs are being recalled in Australia due to an electrical issue.
Ford is recalling 7,222 units of the 2022–2025 Mustang in Australia, citing a potential defect in the vehicle’s lighting system.
According to the company, a manufacturing flaw could allow water to reach the car’s electrical components. As a result, front and rear position lights, tail lights, and license plate lights may malfunction.
Faulty exterior lighting can reduce visibility for drivers and make the vehicle harder to spot at night, increasing the risk of an accident.
Ford Australia said it will contact owners of affected Mustangs and ask them to schedule a free inspection at their local dealership.
