Honda Unveils New Logo for EVs and Hybrids
Honda is entering a new era of electrification with a redesigned brand logo. Which models will be the first to wear the new badge?
Honda plans to aggressively expand its lineup of electric vehicles and hybrids—and it will do so under a newly unveiled brand logo. Which models will be the first to feature the updated badge?
This marks the fourth time in Honda’s history that the company has redesigned its logo. For future electric vehicles and what Honda calls its “core hybrid models,” the automaker has introduced a simpler, flatter “H” emblem. The new badge is set to debut on production vehicles starting next year.

According to Honda, the design of the new emblem “symbolizes two outstretched hands” and reflects how the company intends to navigate its current period of transformation, referring to the growing role of electric vehicles in its portfolio. The logo has a distinctly retro look and closely resembles Honda’s original 1963 emblem.
The new badge was first shown in 2024 on the all-electric 0 Series sedan concept. In China, Honda’s joint-venture partners GAC Honda and Dongfeng Honda have already revealed two “GT” models wearing the updated “H” logo.
Outside of the China-built joint-venture vehicles, the first Honda expected to receive the new logo is the all-new 0 Series crossover, which is scheduled to begin production in late 2026. It will be followed shortly afterward by the 0 Series sedan.

As for future hybrid models, industry analysts expect the new Honda logo to appear on the 12th-generation Civic, which is due to arrive in a few years. The emblem could also be used on potential successors to the CR-V and ZR-V.
Honda also notes that the new logo will not be limited to vehicles. It will be rolled out across dealership branding, motorsports programs, and other areas of the company’s business.
