Hyundai Santa Cruz 2025 SUV based on KIA: something is already known about this model
Hyundai has confirmed the production of a real, truly capable pickup, but it will not go to America.

Kia has already fully disclosed all the details of the new budget SUV Tasman 2025 model year. Soon, Hyundai's response in this segment will also appear. The first details about the future pickup are starting to emerge.
Hyundai itself does not hide: if you take the platform and "stuffing" from the Kia Tasman as a basis, you can assemble your own model fairly quickly.
But the company is clearly not rushing to launch into series - the timing of the new product's release to the market is estimated at about three years. There is also an alternative path: Hyundai recently agreed on cooperation with General Motors in the field of commercial vehicles and pickups, so Hyundai engineers are studying American developments as well.
As for the Kia Tasman itself, it targets serious competitors - the Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux. Obviously, Hyundai is preparing a car in the same category: reliable, versatile, and reasonably priced.
Under the hood of the Tasman - two engine options. The gasoline one is 2.5 liters with 281 hp, the diesel is 2.2 liters with 210 hp. The car has different driving modes, and the all-wheel-drive system can be forcibly locked. The starting price of the new product is from $25,000.
There is a possibility that it will not be designed for America. Hyundai hopes to start production of its new pickup in Australia within the next three years.
