2026 Coleman 2800Sundeck Combines Luxury RV Living With a Surprisingly Affordable Side Patio

Keystone’s newest Coleman fifth wheel packs premium outdoor living features into a compact and relatively affordable camper package.

2026 Coleman 2800Sundeck Combines Luxury RV Living With a Surprisingly Affordable Side Patio

In a perfect world, premium products would always come cheap, junk food would somehow stay healthy, and bad decisions would never carry consequences. Reality doesn’t exactly work that way, but Keystone RV seems determined to at least challenge the first part of that equation.

That effort comes in the form of the new Coleman Legacy 2800Sundeck, the latest addition to Keystone’s premium fifth-wheel lineup. First shown in prototype form late last year, the RV is now preparing to arrive at dealerships across the country, and it’s already generating serious attention among buyers shopping for compact luxury campers.

A big reason for that buzz is the powered side patio — a feature usually reserved for much larger and more expensive fifth wheels. Sure, patio-equipped RVs aren’t exactly new anymore, but few models combine indoor-outdoor living with this kind of compact footprint and relatively attainable pricing.

The 2026 Coleman 2800Sundeck could end up being one of the least expensive fifth wheels offering a powered patio setup, and that’s only part of the appeal. The camper also brings a clever floorplan, upscale finishes, room for up to four people, and a surprisingly refined cabin layout without pushing pricing into luxury-RV territory.

The mid-profile fifth wheel measures just under 33 feet long overall and carries a gross vehicle weight rating of 11,600 pounds. Cargo capacity sits at 2,405 pounds. Underneath, the trailer rides on a tandem-axle chassis with upgraded suspension shocks, a steel I-beam frame, laminated fiberglass walls, and a molded automotive-style front cap.

Technically, the 2800Sundeck uses two slide-outs, although one is a massive super-slide handling part of the kitchen and living area while the second becomes the powered side patio itself. That patio setup is arguably the star of the entire package.

A powered awning with integrated LED lighting stretches nearly the entire length of the RV, helping turn the patio into a comfortable outdoor living area regardless of weather. Keystone also includes an exterior entertainment center complete with an outdoor TV and speakers.

Although the camper can sleep four people when optioned correctly, the layout clearly targets couples looking for extended travel comfort. The bedroom and bathroom sit up front, while the rear section opens into a spacious living and kitchen area that feels larger than expected for a camper this size.

Stepping inside, you enter directly into the living room area, where a large pantry with motion lighting, adjustable shelving, power outlets, and washer-dryer prep blends into the kitchen space. Across from the theater seating is a combined dinette and entertainment center complete with an electric fireplace underneath.

On paper, the layout may sound a little strange, but in person it reportedly feels cozy, modern, and surprisingly home-like. The open design gives the RV a much bigger feel than its dimensions suggest.

The kitchen occupies the rear section of the coach and even includes a dedicated workspace built into the counter area. Owners not working remotely could easily repurpose that section for a beverage cooler or even a dishwasher setup.

Kitchen highlights include solid-surface countertops, a stainless undermount sink, soft-close cabinetry, a three-burner gas cooktop, a Furrion microwave with built-in air fryer functionality, and a huge 12-volt refrigerator/freezer combo.

Unlike many flashy RV kitchens that look nice but aren’t practical, this one was clearly designed for real cooking. Long-term travelers should have no problem preparing full meals every day.

The side patio is accessed directly from the kitchen area, making it an ideal spot for outdoor dinners while watching TV or relaxing outside in the evening.

Up front, the bedroom comes equipped with a king-size bed, mirrored wardrobes, additional hanging storage, and prep for a second television. The bathroom sits in the hallway and includes a porcelain toilet, fiberglass shower surround, vanity sink, and extra storage compartmnts.

Standard equipment on the 2800Sundeck includes auto-leveling, an 18,000-BTU Furrion Chill Cube AC unit in the living room, a separate 8,000-BTU bedroom AC, powered vent fans, a tankless water heater, and ducted heating.

Outside, buyers also get composite entry stairs, a Curt Helux pin box, a full-size spare tire, a rooftop 220-watt solar panel with charge controller, a self-contained utility bay, and dual propane tanks totaling 60 pounds.

Freshwater capacity comes in at 54 gallons, while gray-water and black-water tanks hold 68 and 34 gallons respectively.

Perhaps the biggest surprise is the pricing. Despite offering features usually associated with far more expensive luxury fifth wheels, dealer pricing for the 2026 Coleman Legacy 2800Sundeck currently starts below $60,000. One dealership is already listing the model starting at $56,199, making this feature-packed camper feel like a genuinly strong value in today’s RV market.
