Jeep Will Give Away 100 Wranglers If Team USA Wins the World Cup

Jeep has launched an unusual promotion tied to a potential U.S. victory at the FIFA World Cup.

Jeep Will Give Away 100 Wranglers If Team USA Wins the World Cup

Jeep is promising to hand out 100 new Wrangler SUVs if the United States men's national soccer team captures the FIFA World Cup title.

Under the terms of the promotion, the giveaway is open to Americans who share the name of the country's first president, George Washington. Eligible participants must register online to be entered for a chance to receive one of the off-road SUVs should Team USA pull off the unlikely feat.

As exciting as the offer sounds, oddsmakers aren't exactly bullish on the Americans' chances. According to U.S. sportsbooks, the team enters the tournament as a long shot, with championship odds hovering around 60-to-1.

While the probability of a U.S. World Cup victory remains slim, Jeep's campaign adds an entertaining twist to the world's biggest soccer tournament—and gives a select group of George Washingtons another reason to root for Team USA.
