Lamborghini Revives a Supercar Treatment It Hasn't Used in 15 Years

Lamborghini has unveiled plenty of unusual creations through its Ad Personam personalization program. Now, the Italian automaker has brought back a special supercar treatment it hasn't offered in 15 years.

The company has introduced the new Lamborghini Temerario Tricolore as part of the Ad Personam program, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. The last time Lamborghini created a car with a similar Italian-flag-inspired treatment was in 2011, when the Gallardo LP 550-2 made its debut with the Italian tricolor incorporated into its design.

Lamborghini says the new Temerario Tricolore is more than another customized supercar. Instead, it is a full design project in which the exterior, interior and individual details were developed as one cohesive concept. Only one example has been built, giving Lamborghini a chance to demonstrate what the Ad Personam program can do.

The Temerario Tricolore stands out with its distinctive exterior treatment. The lower portion of the body is finished in deep blue, while the upper section is painted white to emphasize the car's sharp lines. An Italian flag motif stretches across the hood, while red brake calipers are visible behind the wheels. The color combination highlights the supercar's aggressive front surfaces, integrated aerodynamic elements and other exterior details.

Inside, Lamborghini used a combination of red and black materials. The automaker made no other changes to the cabin.

The Temerario's mechanical package remains unchanged. Power comes from the same 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 paired with three electric motors, two mounted on the front axle and a third integrated into the transmission. The hybrid powertrain produces a combined 920 horsepower and works with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Temerario can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 2.7 seconds.
