Xpeng MONA M03: Record-Breaking EV Sedan with Smart Driving — 180,000 Sold Like Hotcakes

Xpeng Motors has marked a major milestone: in just 13 months on the market, the 2025 MONA M03 electric sedan sold 180,000 units, maintaining a steady pace of more than 10,000 sales per month and securing its place as a leader in its segment.

Visually, the MONA M03 stands out with a sleek, modern design. The front fascia features T-shaped LED headlights, a closed grille, and a trapezoidal air intake with active shutters for a futuristic look. The profile is sharp and refined, with a defined beltline, flared fenders that emphasize width, integrated side cameras, and two-tone mirrors. Flush-mounted doors and a choice of 18- or 19-inch wheels complete the package.

The sedan’s dimensions are impressive: nearly 4.8 meters (15.7 ft) long, 1.9 meters (6.2 ft) wide, 1.45 meters (4.7 ft) high, with a 2.8-meter (9.2 ft) wheelbase. Its drag coefficient is just 0.194 — outstanding for an EV. At the rear, a “floating roof” design and hatchback-style trunk add both style and practicality, while the taillights mirror the front lighting for a cohesive design language.

Inside, the MONA M03 Max emphasizes technology and comfort. Powered by dual NVIDIA OrinX chips, the system supports advanced computing, 3D navigation, and panoramic views. The cabin offers wireless charging, dual cup holders, and a well-organized layout. Smart driving features include co-pilot assistance, intelligent parking solutions, and advanced driver-assistance systems.

On the technical side, the MONA M03 Max is equipped with a 160 kW (215 hp) electric motor delivering 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. Energy efficiency is remarkable at just 11.8 kWh per 100 km (about 5.3 miles/kWh). Fast charging adds 200 km (124 miles) of range in just 15 minutes. Safety is reinforced with next-generation battery technology and a strengthened floor structure that meets the strictest standards.
