Chery Exeed Yaoguang C-DM Global Edition PHEV Launches in China Starting at $19,600 — 870-Mile Range and a New Powertrain
Chery has officially launched the Exeed Yaoguang C-DM Global Edition on the Chinese market.
Chery has officially unveiled the Exeed Yaoguang C-DM Global Edition in China. The model is offered in three trim levels, featuring a new powertrain with an impressive range of 1,400 km (870 miles). The exterior design remains unchanged, while the “Global Edition” name hints at plans for international export.

- 120 Long-Range 2WD — ¥139,900 (≈ $19,586)
- 210 Ultra-Long-range 2WD — ¥169,900 (≈ $23,786)
- 200 Ultra-Long-range 4WD — ¥189,900 (≈ $26,586)

Exterior:
- Retains the signature through-type LED light bar with vertical light strips on both sides
- Adds a new two-tone body design
- Features through-type taillights with black trim and dual side exhaust outlets

Powertrain:
The Global Edition keeps the same hybrid configuration as its predecessor — a 1.5-liter engine paired with two or three electric motors (depending on the trim) and a 3-speed DHT transmission. A new option adds a front electric motor combined with the DHT system.

The 1.5TGDI engine delivers 115 kW (154 hp) and 220 Nm of torque.

210 Ultra-Long-range 2WD: Dual front motors producing 165 kW (221 hp) and 390 Nm, with a 3-speed DHT and 34.46 kWh CATL M3P LFP battery, providing 210 km (130 miles) of EV range (CLTC).

200 Ultra-Long-range 4WD: Dual front motors (165 kW / 390 Nm) plus a rear motor (175 kW / 310 Nm). Combined with 3-speed DHT and 34.46 kWh CATL M3P LFP battery, delivering 200 km (124 miles) of EV range (CLTC).

Interior:
Inside, the model features a 24.6-inch dual display setup that includes a full LCD instrument panel and a central control screen. The infotainment system runs on Chery’s Lion 5.0 OS powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip.

Additional highlights include eight Sony speakers, a 50W wireless charging pad, 256-color ambient lighting, and a foldable rear center console.
