Treat for Luxury Auto Connoisseurs: Maserati Grecale Debuts the “Night” Special Edition Lumina Blu

Maserati says the Grecale Lumina Blu looks as if it has slipped into an elegant evening outfit.

Treat for Luxury Auto Connoisseurs: Maserati Grecale Debuts the “Night” Special Edition Lumina Blu

Maserati continues to find new ways to captivate potential buyers, and one of its most effective strategies appears to be luxurious special editions. The Grecale SUV, first introduced in spring 2022, has already gained its second limited-run version. After receiving a wine-inspired edition in mid-October, the model now adds a new variant called Lumina Blu. As per Maserati’s established formula, it features exclusive exterior and interior design details.

The idea behind the Grecale Lumina Blu is to make the SUV look dressed for a sophisticated night out. The centerpiece of this new look is a two-layer purple shade called Night Interaction, chosen to highlight the SUV’s sleek Italian lines. Yellow accents adorn the brake calipers and the signature trident emblem on the rear pillar. Matrix LED headlights and tinted rear windows come standard. Completing the evening aesthetic are exclusive 21-inch Pegaso wheels.

Inside, the Grecale Lumina Blu pays homage to the craftsmanship and refinement long associated with Maserati. The cabin is upholstered in premium Chocolate-brown leather, with an optional light Ghiaccio (Ice) leather interior. Both versions feature open-pore wood trim on the center console and door panels. The pedals are fitted with sporty stainless-steel covers.

Standard equipment includes a panoramic sunroof, front seats with heating, ventilation, and 12- or 14-way power adjustment (the latter for the light Ghiaccio leather version), a heated steering wheel, a hands-free power liftgate, and a 360-degree camera system.

Mechanical specifications match those of the Grecale Modena, which serves as the basis for the Lumina Blu edition. The mild-hybrid powertrain pairs a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 330 hp with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. A mechanical limited-slip differential is fitted on the rear axle.

Pricing for the Maserati Grecale Lumina Blu has not yet been announced. For reference, the standard Grecale starts at €85,200, which is roughly $98,000 at the current exchange rate.
