Ferrari Unveils the New 849 Testarossa Supercar

The new Ferrari 849 Testarossa combines extreme performance with bold, expressive styling. The supercar is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 paired with three electric motors, delivering a combined output of 1,036 horsepower and 621 lb-ft of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph takes just 2.3 seconds, while top speed is rated at approximately 211 mph.

Power is sent through an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system. The hybrid setup includes a 7.45-kWh battery pack, providing up to about 15 miles of electric-only driving range. Pricing is estimated at around $586,500.

The interior has been simplified and clearly focused on the driver. New controls are designed to be intuitive, with seating position and switchgear laid out according to ergonomic principles and Ferrari’s racing experience. The Testarossa offers several driving modes—including Hybrid, EV, Performance, and Qualifying—allowing drivers to balance comfort, efficiency, and outright performance.

On both the track and city streets, the car delivers sharp handling and immediate responses, while retaining Ferrari’s signature character, complete with an emotional exhaust note and a strong sense of speed.
