Hyundai Prepares the New 2028 Kona With Fresh Styling and Expanded Features for the U.S.

Hyundai is preparing to launch the next-generation 2028 Kona with significantly revised styling and a modernized interior. The model is expected to become one of the market's most talked-about new vehicles, particularly because of its expanded powertrain lineup and the introduction of a new infotainment system.

Hyundai continues to update its lineup aggressively, and this time the spotlight is on the compact Kona crossover. The company is preparing to introduce an all-new generation of the model, which could arrive during the second half of next year. Interest continues to grow as fresh spy photos of prototypes and the first details about the technical changes emerge.

Unlike the previous version, the new 2028 Hyundai Kona will adopt a more substantial look inspired by traditional SUVs. The design follows the Crater theme and reflects the brand's new Art of Steel philosophy, setting the model apart from its predecessor.
