Mitsubishi Delica D:5 Transformed Into a Cozy Camper With a Bedroom and Air Conditioning
A new camper project based on the popular Mitsubishi minivan has been unveiled.
The Mitsubishi Delica D:5 remains one of the most popular vehicles for travel. These vans are known for their durability and off-road capability, which is why they are often used as the basis for unusual camper projects.
One such example was unveiled at the ALL Kanto Camping Car Fair 2026 in Japan. It was created by local company Rocky2, which named the conversion MV. The main feature of the special "Delica" is the ability to quickly change the cabin layout from a living area into a sleeping space for two adults.

The name MV stands for Mountain Village. Rocky2 positions this version as a flagship camper designed for trips into nature. The Mitsubishi Delica D:5 serves as the base vehicle and gets additional wheel arches designed to resist scratches.
The most significant changes were made inside. Instead of the standard three-row, seven-seat layout, the Delica D:5 MV has two rows and five seats. The space is equipped with special kits that include separate sleeping modules, wooden shelves, removable dining tables, and storage drawers.
