Land Rover Defender Octa Black – new super black
Yes, it looks like a real gangster. Apart from the ominously black body color, the interior has received updated details and luxurious new finishes. You'll love it.
In addition to the deep, almost mystical black shade of the bodywork, the novelty has received an updated interior with premium materials and sophisticated trim. It looks as if it is made for those who like to stand out… or conversely, to blend in with the night.

Immediately after the release of the Range Rover Sport SV Black, Land Rover presented a similar approach to the top-of-the-range Defender Octa. And yes, this SUV looks like it came straight out of a crime blockbuster.

The body color is called Narvik Black – according to the brand, it is the «deepest black in the Defender palette». If desired, owners can add a matte protective film – not so much for caution, but for an even more aggressive look. Although, who are we kidding, with such a car caution is not the main thing.

The interior has exclusive seats with unique stitching, semi-aniline leather, and Kvadrat fabric. The rest is no surprise: a 13.1-inch display and a Meridian audio system with 15 speakers.

There are no technical changes – under the hood is the same twin-turbo V8 with hybrid support: 626 hp and 750 Nm, accelerating to 100 km/h in 4 seconds even off-road. No wonder Land Rover is considering participation in the Dakar Rally – the car is clearly made for extreme tests.

The price and exact launch dates for the Octa Black are still silent, but considering that the standard version starts at $200,000, don't expect a budget option.
The exterior is complemented by 30 gloss or matte black elements – from exhaust pipes to underbody protection. Wheels of 20 or 22 inches and brake calipers are also in black.

The same aesthetics reign in the cabin: darkened inserts on the instrument panel, center console, and most finishing elements. Carbon details can be added as an option – if you like the style of those who think Mansory knows how to make SUVs with character.
