New Renault 5 Edition Monte Carlo: the crossover not everyone will get

The Netherlands presented a special version of the Renault 5 — a limited-edition electric crossover referring to the legendary Clio Williams of the 1990s.

A rare 2025 Renault 5 in the exclusive Edition Monte Carlo version was introduced in the Netherlands. This is not a factory modification — the car was created by one of Renault's official dealers. The vehicle is released in a single instance, making it particularly valuable to collectors and fans of the brand.

The special version is based on the basic configuration of the new crossover. The design is inspired by the classic Clio Williams hatchback, produced in the 1990s. It is known not only for its aggressive sporty character but also for its exterior style, which stood out among competitors at the time.

Renault 5 Edition Monte Carlo refers to the legendary Clio primarily through its design. The body is painted in a rich dark blue, as the original model. The shade has a glossy texture, emphasizing the premium execution.

The car received new 19-inch wheels and a carbon front spoiler. The interior features sports seats upholstered in black perforated leather and Alcantara.

The electric crossover is equipped with a 120 hp engine. According to the dealer, any customer can order a similar upgrade for their Renault 5. However, converting a standard model into an Edition Monte Carlo will cost €29,990.
