Coming Soon to U.S. Fields: New Holland T7 Tractor Packed with Features

Many U.S. farmers will welcome this high-tech addition. New Holland’s new T7 tractor series in the 180–225 horsepower range comes with a standard wheelbase, strong fuel economy, and a refreshed livery—just a few of its many highlights.

The upgrades are extensive. The front axle has been redesigned and is now available in standard or heavy-duty versions. Both come suspended and equipped with twin accumulators for quicker, smoother response, reducing shocks to both tractor and operator.

An optional anti-roll system locks the accumulators to improve handling during transport. Combined with a new axle support and reshaped hood, the redesigned front axle cuts the turning radius by 17% (2.4 meters)—from 14.3 m down to 11.4 m. In the field, that translates to faster headland turns.

The T7 standard wheelbase models also feature a completely new cab and a striking new Dynamic Blue color scheme, which will be rolled out across all New Holland tractors.

Under the sloping hood—which improves forward visibility—sits a 6.7-liter Stage V FPT NEF engine with a 750-hour service interval. The T7.225 paired with the Dynamic Command™ (DCT) transmission already stands out as one of the most fuel-efficient tractors in its class.

At the DLG test center, it achieved best-in-class PowerMix fuel efficiency, using just 243 g/kWh.

Multiple transmission options are on the way. The T7.180, T7.190, and T7.210 can be fitted with New Holland’s new 3x1-range Auto Command™ CVT, available from launch. Later, the company will also offer the Dynamic Command™ dual-clutch transmission and the well-known Range Command™.

The flagship T7.225 can be specified with either Dynamic Command™ or Auto Command™. The new Dynamic Command™ features 24 gears, a top speed of 50 km/h in eco mode, and start/stop functionality. Meanwhile, the Auto Command™ CVT reaches a maximum speed of 55 km/h. Upgraded brake boosters provide the stopping power needed for higher transport speeds.

Inside, the new SideWinder armrest interface lets operators configure controls to suit their needs. Key functions are close at hand, along with the enhanced CommandGrip multifunction handle for intuitive operation.

The cab itself offers improved ergonomics, more comfort, and better functionality—highlighted by upgraded climate control, extra space, refined materials, and increased storage capacity.
