The car features a highly efficient hybrid system, a suite of advanced driver assistants, and boasts an original exterior design and expensive interior materials. The price is pleasantly surprising. Photos and all details about the novelty.

The flagship plug-in hybrid sedan Fulwin A9L from Chery is entering the Chinese market: pre-sales of the model start on June 25, and the official launch in China is planned for early July.

The Fulwin A9L features a sleek silhouette with an elegant fastback design and a drag coefficient of 0.23 Cd. At the front, the sedan stands out with a "blind" radiator grille, an LED strip across the entire width of the front, and at the rear, a "solid" massive LED taillight and a darkened lower bumper with silver inserts. Additional exterior highlights include semi-hidden door handles, a wide active rear spoiler, and some other details.

The length of the new Chery Fulwin A9L sedan is 5018 mm, the width is 1965 mm, and the height is 1500 mm; the wheelbase reaches 3000 mm. The car comes with 20-inch multi-spoke wheels, giving the vehicle an even more impressive, premium look.
Regarding the powertrain, the new A9L uses the proprietary Chery Kunpeng Super Hybrid Electric 6.0 system with a continuously variable DHT Pro transmission. The 1.5T gasoline turbo engine delivers a peak power of 218 hp and a torque of 310 Nm, paired with a Kunpeng Blade lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 33.7 kWh. This setup provides an all-electric range of up to 260 km and a combined range of around 2000 km with a fully charged battery and a full tank of gasoline.

The Fulwin A9L interior offers premium trim materials and features, for example, suede-style finishes on door panels and the dashboard, chrome accents, and some other features.

The interior is available in two-tone black-red or brown-white options. Rear passengers are claimed to have ample knee and headroom, largely achieved through a long wheelbase. The seats are equipped with dual-layer upholstery and extended cushions for additional support, and the rear central armrest is standard.
The infotainment system runs on a high-performance Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255 chipset. Advanced driver assistance systems are powered by 27 intelligent sensors, including a lidar, millimeter-wave radars, a surround-view camera system, ultrasonic radars, connected to the autonomous driving computation platform Orin Y 200T, and more.

Accordingly, the car features a "memory parking assistant", autopilot navigation, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, collision prevention system, and more.
The A9L officially debuted at an event in Hong Kong on June 12. The new model is expected to be priced between 150,000 to 200,000 yuan, which at the current exchange rate is $20,000–28,000. The new Chery Fulwin A9L sedan will hit the global market in the first quarter of 2026.
