Is Your Ford on the List? 625,000 Vehicles Recalled for Critical Defect

Ford has announced a recall of nearly 625,000 vehicles in the United States over problems with seat belts and rearview camera displays, Reuters reported, citing the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The recall related to seat belt issues affects 332,778 Ford Mustang vehicles, while a separate recall tied to rearview camera display malfunctions involves 291,901 units of the F-250, F-350, and F-450 pickup trucks.

According to the U.S. safety regulator, Ford dealers will update the image processing module software to fix the display defect.

For vehicles affected by the seat belt issue, dealers will inspect the components and replace them if necessary, the company said.
