Dodge Opens Orders for New Charger R/T SIXPACK with 420-HP 3.0L Turbo and All-Wheel Drive
Dodge has started taking orders for the 2026 Charger R/T SIXPACK, featuring a 420-horsepower turbo engine and a wide-body design.
Dodge has officially opened orders for the 2026 Charger R/T SIXPACK, a bold addition to the muscle car lineup. With a 420-horsepower turbocharged engine and an aggressively wide-body design, the first deliveries are expected to reach customers in early 2026. Here’s what buyers can expect in terms of features and pricing.
Not many cars today combine wide-track presence with raw power quite like the new Charger R/T SIXPACK. Dodge wanted to go beyond the standard formula and give muscle car enthusiasts something special — the widest body in its class paired with impressive performance figures.
The highlight of the new model is the 3.0-liter Hurricane SIXPACK turbo engine, producing 420 hp and 468 lb-ft of torque. That translates to a 0–60 mph sprint in just 5 seconds, while the quarter-mile is covered in 13.6 seconds. Top speed reaches 168 mph, putting it among the fastest in its segment.
The Charger R/T SIXPACK will be offered in both two-door and four-door configurations. Standard all-wheel drive can be switched to rear-wheel drive at the push of a button — perfect for either fuel efficiency or a more engaging driving experience. The car also comes with a mechanical limited-slip differential, a performance exhaust, and four driving modes: Auto, Eco, Wet/Snow, and Sport.
For those craving extra excitement, Dodge offers two upgrade packages. The Performance Handling Group includes Line Lock for burnouts, Launch Control for perfect starts, six-piston Brembo front brakes, retuned suspension, and 20-inch wheels.
The R/T Plus package adds luxury and tech features: 64-color interior lighting, LED headlights with a decorative stripe, a heads-up display, a 16-inch digital gauge cluster, and a 360-degree camera system. For buyers seeking a more distinctive look, the Blacktop package adds black badges, dark exhaust tips, a panoramic roof, an 18-speaker Alpine audio system, and Demonic Red seats.
The base price for the two-door Charger R/T SIXPACK is $49,995, making it one of the most affordable options among modern muscle cars. The four-door model carries a $2,000 premium.
In the 2026 Charger lineup, the R/T SIXPACK joins two other variants: the gas-powered Charger Scat Pack with the same SIXPACK engine and the electric Charger Daytona Scat Pack with 670 hp. The Daytona starts just under $60,000, though the final price can rise with options.
All Scat Pack buyers, regardless of powertrain, receive a bonus day at the Radford Racing School for high-performance driving instruction — a perfect way to explore their car’s potential on the track.
Orders for the Dodge Charger R/T SIXPACK are now open, but the first vehicles won’t hit dealerships until early next year. Production begins in the first quarter of 2026, so fans will need to wait a few months before seeing this new muscle car on the road.
