Jeep and Marvel Tease Possible Vehicle Cameos in the Next Avengers: Endgame Movie
Jeep’s new partnership with Marvel is raising questions about the brand’s role in the upcoming blockbuster.
At the height of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s popularity, automotive product placement became a major part of Hollywood marketing. Audi built especially close ties with Marvel, with its vehicles appearing throughout the Iron Man trilogy, Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Other automakers joined in as well. Acura featured in Thor and the original The Avengers, while the Lexus LC made an appearance in Black Panther.

That history makes Marvel’s new partnership with Jeep especially intriguing. Both companies have already confirmed plans for a joint marketing campaign tied to Avengers: Endgame beginning December 18.
During a recent media briefing, Olivier Francois, Stellantis’ global chief marketing officer, was asked directly whether Jeep vehicles would appear in the upcoming film. Given Marvel’s well-known secrecy around its productions, he avoided giving a clear answer and simply suggested audiences “wait and see.”

That response is hardly surprising considering how little has officially been revealed about the movie so far. What is known is that Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans are expected to return, joined by Chris Hemsworth, Paul Rudd, and Anthony Mackie, along with actors from the X-Men universe and newer Marvel heroes.
Although Francois remained vague about Jeep’s exact role in the film, he pointed out that the brand is no stranger to Hollywood. The Jeep Wrangler famously appeared in Jurassic Park and later supported marketing campaigns for Jurassic World Dominion and Jurassic World Rebirth.

Francois also revealed that Jeep has spent years considering a collaboration with Captain America, though he admitted he was never sure Marvel would agree. This year, however, both Jeep and Captain America celebrate their 85th anniversaries, with the executive describing both as enduring American icons tied to the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary celebrations.

Meanwhile, Vince Galante, head of Jeep design, shared new details about the upcoming Jeep Wrangler America 250 Edition.
According to Galante, the special edition draws inspiration from America’s 1976 Bicentennial celebration and Jeep’s classic Super Jeep package from the 1970s. The vintage model featured flowing red-and-blue graphics inspired by the American flag, and the modern version carries over that theme with more restrained styling, including blue-and-red U-shaped hood decals and matching side graphics.

Galante said development of the special edition took roughly 18 months, largely because of the unique Jean Blue soft top. Since the roof design was completely new, engineers subjected it to extensive durability testing before approving it for production.
