Concept Art of the New Nissan Terrano Revealed: The Perfect Competitor to Land Rover Defender 90

An unofficial render of the new generation Terrano surprised with its futuristic design and unexpected solutions.

Concept Art of the New Nissan Terrano Revealed: The Perfect Competitor to Land Rover Defender 90

Nissan continues to explore ways to strengthen its lineup by betting on new and revived models. Among the possible candidates for a comeback is the legendary Terrano SUV, whose production ended in 2006. While there is no official confirmation of these plans yet, enthusiasts and experts are actively discussing the potential return of the model.

Render of Nissan Terrano

Recently, the ranks of those who believe in the revival of the Terrano have been joined by automotive designer Andrey Sulemin. Working in China since 2014, he presented his own version of the appearance of the next-generation SUV. His renders are based on the assumption that Nissan will retain the key features of the original Terrano — a frame platform and remarkable off-road capability.

Speculative render of the new Nissan Terrano

According to the designer's concept, the novelty could have a 3-door body, making it a direct competitor to the Ford Bronco, Jeep Wrangler, and even the premium Land Rover Defender 90. Visually, the concept looks extremely bold: narrow headlights, massive wheel arches, aggressive rear fenders, and stylish stroke-like taillights create an image more akin to a concept car than to a production model.

For now, this is just an artist's fantasy, but if Nissan does undertake the project, the next-generation Terrano could become one of the most interesting SUVs on the market.
