Bentley Enters the Electric SUV Game: Smaller Than the Bentayga, With 350-Mile Range

Bentley has officially confirmed the date for the debut of its first fully electric SUV: November 5, 2025. The upcoming model will mark a turning point in the brand’s transition to electric mobility. Positioned as a luxury urban crossover, it will be smaller than the flagship Bentayga, measuring just under five meters in length.

Built on the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) architecture—jointly developed with Porsche and Audi—the SUV promises top-tier handling dynamics and advanced engineering. Its design takes cues from the EXP 15 concept, featuring sculpted lines, a sleek profile, and a new visual identity that sets the tone for Bentley’s next era.

Under the skin, the EV is expected to carry a 108-kWh battery pack, similar to what’s planned for the next-generation Porsche Cayenne EV. Estimated range will be around 560 kilometers (about 350 miles) on the WLTP cycle, though the figure may dip slightly due to Bentley’s characteristically robust build and materials.

The model’s name remains under wraps, but trademark filings suggest two possibilities: Mayon and Barnato. For Bentley, this isn’t just about keeping pace with electrification trends—it’s about redefining what luxury means in the EV age. Compact yet opulent, refined yet forward-thinking, the upcoming SUV aims squarely at the modern city driver who values prestige, innovation, and uncompromised comfort in one seamless package.
