A Very Strange Abarth: Limited-Edition Crossover from Stellantis and Netflix

Stellantis and Netflix have teamed up for a special edition crossover — the FIAT Abarth Pulse, inspired by the hit series Stranger Things.

A Very Strange Abarth: Limited-Edition Crossover from Stellantis and Netflix

Stellantis and Netflix have joined forces to create a unique automotive tribute to one of pop culture’s most iconic shows. The result is the FIAT Abarth Pulse Stranger Things Edition — a limited-run crossover that brings the supernatural vibe of the Upside Down to the streets.

Naturally, fans of the show will be the first to appreciate this unusual collaboration. Only 511 units will be built, destined for the markets of Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina. The project continues a long-standing trend of carmakers partnering with entertainment giants — much like the Iron Man-themed Hyundai Kona from a few years back. Now it’s Abarth’s turn to channel the eerie spirit of Hawkins, Indiana.

The base for this special edition is the Abarth Pulse, a performance version of FIAT’s compact crossover that’s already familiar to South American buyers. It packs a 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 185 horsepower and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft) of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.6 seconds.

So, what makes this one “strange”? The styling, of course. Buyers can choose between two color schemes: red with a black roof or full black. Both feature side graphics that resemble tattoos from the show and a discreet Stranger Things badge. The red version gets black mirrors, trim, and roof, while the black one contrasts with red mirror caps and a red front splitter.

The interior follows the same dark and mysterious theme: black leather sport seats with unique embroidery and the show’s logo on the backrests, an individually numbered plaque on the dashboard, and custom door sill plates. Even under the hood, there’s a playful touch — a decorative engine cover with Stranger Things styling.

Pricing for this “very strange” Abarth remains under wraps — much like the plot of the upcoming fifth season of Stranger Things.
