Rare Nissan Skyline GT-R M-Spec Nür Sells for $442,000 at U.S. Online Auction
Nissan built just 285 examples of the Skyline GT-R M-Spec Nür, making it one of the rarest production versions of the R34.
The seller imported this 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R M-Spec Nür into the United States in late 2025. It was sold on the Bring a Trailer online auction platform for $442,000, marking one of the highest known prices ever paid for this particular GT-R variant—despite the car showing 37,000 miles on the odometer.
Nissan made a number of upgrades specific to the M-Spec Nür. These included a revised head gasket, modified camshafts, an updated engine control unit, a larger aluminum radiator, an upgraded intercooler, a redesigned intake system, reinforced engine mounts, and an additional oil cooler.

However, the car offered for sale no longer retains its original engine. Instead, it is fitted with a Nismo R2 powerplant, a significantly more aggressive evolution of the factory RB26DETT engine from the Skyline lineup, producing more than 500 horsepower.

The car still features its original M-Spec front bucket seats upholstered in black leather. It is also equipped with a more modern Eclipse head unit. The Nissan Skyline GT-R M-Spec Nür is finished in Millennium Jade, arguably the most collectible color ever offered on the R34. That distinctive paint is widely considered a key factor behind the car’s visual appeal and strong demand among collectors.
