American Favorite Ride: Best-Selling Vehicle in the U.S.

From the start of 2026 through February, the best-selling new vehicle in the United States was the legendary Ford F-Series, according to Focus2Move.

Even with a 17.2% drop compared to the same period last year, the F-Series still captured 4.2% of the market. That kind of performance once again highlights the deep-rooted loyalty American buyers have toward Ford’s flagship pickup.

The F-Series has been a staple of the U.S. auto market for more than 70 years. Over that time, it has gone through multiple redesigns and steady improvements. As of 2026, total production has surpassed 40 million units—cementing its place as one of the most successful vehicles ever built.

Top 10 Best-Selling New Vehicles in the U.S. (2026, Jan–Feb):

  1. Ford F-Series (−17.2%)
  2. Chevrolet Silverado (+7%)
  3. Ram Pickup (+25.2%)
  4. Honda CR-V (+1.6%)

Coming in second is another American icon, the Chevrolet Silverado, which holds a 3.9% market share. The Ram Pickup takes third place.

Notably, the top three spots are all held by American pickups. Among non-domestic models, the Honda CR-V leads the pack in fourth place, while the ever-reliable Toyota Corolla rounds out the top ten.
