Chinese Vacuum Maker Plans to Build the World’s Fastest EV — a Bugatti Clone

Chinese home appliance manufacturer Dreame has released renderings of its first electric vehicle. What caught attention is how closely the car resembles a Bugatti Chiron. The company intends to showcase a prototype at CES in Las Vegas this January.

The renderings, which appear to have been generated with the help of AI, were shared on social media by Dreame Technology founder Yu Hao. They depict a four-door coupe that could easily be mistaken for a long-wheelbase version of the Bugatti Chiron.

According to Chinese media, the company is preparing to bring a physical prototype to the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The design bears a strong resemblance to the Chiron, differing mainly in its headlights. Elements such as the horseshoe-shaped grille and the C-shaped rear styling cues were clearly borrowed.

The interior, however, is different. Unlike the Chiron’s vertical gauge layout and solid aluminum steering wheel, Dreame’s car features a widescreen tablet mounted on the dashboard along with an additional display on the center console.

2025 - Bugatti Chiron

Last month, the company, founded in 2017, confirmed plans to enter the automotive market in 2027 with an electric hypercar designed to surpass models from Bugatti and Koenigsegg.

Dreame is currently scouting potential sites for a new EV production facility in Berlin, near Tesla’s Gigafactory. The company is also building ties with French bank BNP Paribas to help finance its ambitions in the auto industry.
