Lidu RV Drops Yacht-Like 2026 Aquila 360, It's Unlike Any Other Travel Trailer out There
China often gets associated with producing some of the world’s most convincing replicas. Yet, a few manufacturers prove they can design original, high-quality vehicles. The latest proof of that is the Lidu RV Aquila 360.
China may not be the first place people think of when it comes to innovative campers, but the Lidu RV Aquila 360 is about to change that perception. While the brand itself might be unfamiliar to most Americans, once you take a closer look at this trailer, you’ll quickly see why it deserves attention.
This isn’t the first time the Aquila 360 has been highlighted, but the version featured today—shown in a recent Myles RVs video—is the updated 2026 model, and frankly, it’s stunning. From its construction methods to the interior design, this camper raises the bar far beyond the norm.

The goal behind the Aquila 360 seems clear: Lidu RV wanted to deliver a travel trailer that will stay reliable and enjoyable for years. To achieve this, they built it using methods rarely seen in this market.

Beneath the fiberglass exterior lies an aluminum frame, much like the structure of a modern automobile. Large, laser-cut aluminum panels are welded, riveted, and bolted together to form a shell that resembles a stripped-down campervan body. Only brands like Airstream or Bowlus typically use this kind of construction on compact models. On top of that solid frame sits a single-piece fiberglass skin, designed for maximum durability and a seamless look.

The exterior is almost entirely uninterrupted, aside from windows, doors, a nose storage compartment, and the pop-up roof. This smooth fiberglass surface not only looks premium but also comes with all the usual benefits of easier maintenance and weather resistance.

Step inside, and things get even more surprising. Entry is through the rear, where the entire back wall lifts up electronically—no manual lifting needed. The hatch can support up to 200 kg (441 lbs), making it perfect for lounging outdoors, enjoying a drink, and soaking in the view.

The interior feels straight out of a luxury yacht. Wooden flooring, a beach-club-style rear deck, and clever use of lighting all contribute to that vibe. On the left side, there’s a galley equipped with a cooktop, fridge, sink, and storage. What sets it apart is the added technology: an induction stove, electrically cooled cupholders, and even a built-in scent system that spreads fragrance through the AC.

Opposite the kitchen area is a compact bathroom, complete with a toilet and an outdoor shower option. Moving further in, there’s a surprisingly roomy dinette that can seat up to six people and also transforms into the sleeping space. Smart glass ensures privacy with the touch of a button, while premium touches like an integrated sound system, LED lighting, stitched leather, and even Mercedes-style air vents elevate the atmosphere.

When the roof is extended, headroom improves dramatically, and ventilation around the edges helps keep the interior fresh. Outdoor features are limited, though there is a side-mounted gas cooktop and a decent storage box at the front. Off-grid options aren’t mentioned, but portable solar solutions should be possible if built-in ones aren’t available.

Pricing remains a mystery. The Aquila 360 was recently showcased at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, and official figures haven’t been released yet. Considering the solid aluminum and fiberglass shell, plus the yacht-inspired interior, expect a price starting around €45,000 in Europe and $50,000–55,000 in the U.S. if it ever makes its way there.
Interestingly, Lidu’s own site hasn’t been updated in over a year, but their European partner, StarLight B.V., should reveal details soon. One small note: promotional material mistakenly spelled the name as “Aqulia 360,” while the actual model proudly wears the correct “Aquila”—Latin for “eagle.”
