Fiat Recalls 500e Electric Cars Amid Headlight Safety Concerns

Fiat has announced a recall of its 2024–2025 500e electric city cars due to irregularities in the adjustment of the headlight system that fail to meet the strict standards of the U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Administration.

The issue involves the precision of the headlight beam alignment, which could affect visibility and overall safety during nighttime driving. To address the problem, the automaker has developed a specific technical fix that includes installing protective caps to ensure the lights function correctly and comply with federal regulations.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed starting in December 2025. Fiat 500e drivers will be asked to visit authorized service centers for free repairs.
