Auto Mechanic Names Affordable Used Crossover Capable of Driving 500,000 mi

Veteran auto mechanic Scotty Kilmer, who runs a YouTube channel, often unveils used cars worth buying for his viewers.

This time, the former auto shop employee turned blogger claims that a Toyota crossover is reasonably priced on the secondary market but can offer its owner incredible reliability.

Toyota RAV4

The vehicle in question is the fourth-generation Toyota RAV4 (facelift). According to the experienced ex-mechanic, this 'soft-roader' boasts a very durable engine and excellent fuel economy.

Thanks to the absence of a turbo, the RAV4 engine wears out much slower than turbocharged powertrains.

Kilmer notes that he has been familiar with the fourth-generation RAV4 since its release in the facelift version (2015). During this time, he has never seen such a crossover break down.

Many examples that emerged about ten years ago still use their original batteries and generators, and their fabric seats are practically 'indestructible' compared to leather ones, which crack quickly.

The only way to break a RAV4, according to the technical expert, is by attempting to fully submerge the vehicle in a body of water.
