Japanese buyers will be able to choose between Urban Premium and Tough Premium trims for the upcoming Honda CR-V e:HEV.

Honda Unveils Two Factory Custom Packages for the New-Generation CR-V

Ahead of the Japanese market launch of the Honda CR-V e:HEV, scheduled for February 2026, Honda Access has revealed a new lineup of factory-approved customization options for the sixth-generation crossover.

The hybrid CR-V will be offered with two distinct factory styling themes: Urban Premium and Tough Premium. Each package is designed to give the same vehicle a noticeably different character, depending on the owner’s lifestyle and preferences.

Honda Access takes a holistic approach to customization. While many of the body components are shared, they differ in finishes, colors, and design accents. Urban Premium is aimed at drivers who prefer a refined, city-focused look, while Tough Premium emphasizes a more rugged, outdoors-ready image. In both cases, these are fully factory-engineered solutions that blend seamlessly with the CR-V’s original design.

In Tough Premium form, the Honda CR-V e:HEV RS Black Edition gains a more aggressive appearance thanks to an extended body kit, lower trim pieces, side moldings, mud flaps, a larger rear spoiler, and dark exterior accents. Inside, the focus shifts to practicality and everyday usability. The package includes branded floor mats, door-sill protection, a cargo tray designed for dirty or wet gear, ambient lighting, and factory-installed options such as a dash camera and the ETC2.0 electronic toll collection system.
